Modeled radiative heat transfer between a campfire flame and suspended cooking pan using enclosure-radiation methods. The analysis compared several pan-surface conditions and flame-to-pan distances.

Heat Transfer Natural Convection

Natural Convection Cooling Analysis

Analyzed natural-convection cooling of beverage containers in horizontal and vertical orientations. Multiple container geometries were compared under consistent modeled conditions.

Steam Boiler Efficiency Optimization

Analyzed a campus steam-generation system and developed a modeled waste-heat recovery concept. Combustion, heat losses, and improvement strategies were evaluated using EES.

Airfoil Aerodynamics & Stall Simulation

Simulated two-dimensional airflow over an airfoil across angles of attack from −5° to 20°. Pressure, velocity, separation, and stall behavior were evaluated throughout the sweep.

Fluid Mechanics Thermal Management

Electronics Cooling Analysis

Used CFD to evaluate the cooling of an enclosed electronics package. The study compared inlet flow rates and working fluids to identify configurations that maintained component temperatures below critical limits.
